Kodak CX 7330
Kodak CX 7330 digital camera
The main drawbacks to the Kodak CX 7330 are its lack of serious features and its low resolution.
Even though the Kodak CX 7330 delivers half again as much resolution as the Epson’s maximum of 2 megapixels, the first thing to be considered when upgrading cameras would be higher resolution. Its 3.1 megapixels lifts it above being merely the digital equivalent of a single-use cardboard camera but cannot push it into even the serious hobbyist range.
The second thing would be those missing higher-end features.
The limited video capability might be of use for short interviews, if there were also audio.
The several camera modes allow for a limited range of discrimination among shutter speed, flash use, and focal length without real manual control.
For what it is, the Kodak produces remarkable photographs. However, its lack of flexibility and advanced features limits its use past low-cost low-resolution stock photography under constrained conditions.
So the second verdict is in: the Kodak can be used as a beginner’s camera for the application in mind. Just don’t get too ambitious.
