Coming Soon: Tom Hanks in The Da Vinci Code

Over in her Corner, La Shawn Barber is trying to start a blogswarm in defense of Christianity against the falsehoods perpretrated by Dan Brown in The Da Vinci Code. In addition to her excellent suggestions, I would like to add: read De-coding Da Vinci by Amy Welborn.

Via Amy Welborn, please note that the trial for, essentially, stealing the idea for The Da Vinci Code from Holy Blood, Holy Grail is scheduled for the end of February 2007.

John Mark Reynolds at Eidos brings up the interesting question of the responsibility of a Greek Orthodox bishop in regards to a communicant (Tom Hanks) participating in a project that so misrepresents Christianity.
