This Week’s Catholic Carnival is Up!

Hosted at Living Catholicism with a theme of “Lenten reading:”

Shameless plug: please also check out my latest booklist on suggested reading for Lent.

Here are the first three posts that made me click through:

  • The first-click-through award goes to Red Neck Woman at Postscripts from the Catholic Spitfire Grill for “‘Catholics Gone Wrong’” because she has the Chesterbelloc rampaging through Ezekiel. Charge!

  • The second-click-through award goes to Jean Marie Catherine Heimann at Catholic Fire for “Acquiring Virtues For Lent: Humility” because I’m working on this particular virtue for Lent this year. (cough) Pray for me — I need it.

  • The one-more-before-the-door award goes to Faithful Web for “40 Ways to Keep Readers From Giving Up Your Site for Lent” because every writer hits a dry spell and appreciates suggestions.

As always, there are more posts than the three listed. Click through and check out the entire Carnival.

Do you find news here worth reading? Do you agree (or disagree) with my slant on that news? Buy me a cup of coffee! My recipe for a daily cup: 8 ounces of 2% milk, 2 shots of espresso, 4 shakes of ground cinnamon, 2 teaspoons chocolate syrup, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and a topping of light whipped cream. Drop a tip in my jar — whatever amount you want, whatever amount you think I've earned.
