MSNBC Runs Off The Rails Over Tea Partiers

Dylan Ratigan of MSNBC sets up a straw man argument — that Tea Partiers willing accept racists — demands a defense from a Tea Party organizer, then yells and raves over any and all attempt by the Tea Partier to answer the slanted question:

This is an example of why mainstream media’s failure to cover a typical Tea Partier is offensive to Tea Partiers and a betrayal of journalistic ethics.

Before showing the fringe protesters holding up Obama-as-Hitler signs, journalists should establish a context that clearly shows that who a typical Tea Partier is, and what a typical Tea Party concern is.

When that context is missing, the atypical is taken as typical, and idiots like Dylan Ratigan feel justified (or at least safe) to spit venom.

My recipe for a daily cup: 8 ounces of 2% milk, 2 shots of espresso, 4 shakes of ground cinnamon, 2 teaspoons chocolate syrup, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and a topping of light whipped cream. Drop a tip in my jar — whatever amount you want, whatever amount you think I've earned.
