Bryan Preston at Michelle Malkin’s blot posts about those flooded buses — but I think it’s worse than that. In an earlier post based on information from the Survival of New Orleans, it’s apparent that not all the buses were flooded.
You know what that means? Evacuation from the Super Dome and the NO Convention Center could have started immediately after Katrina blew through. But local government thought a better use for those buses and zoomobiles was to patrol the streets…
Via Interdictor at the Survival of New Orleans as of 6:52pm last night (NO time): “The W hotel which is down Poydras from us now has full power. It’s a staging area for the rescue and relief effort.”

Do you find news here worth reading? Do you agree (or disagree) with my slant on that news? Buy me a cup of coffee! My recipe for a daily cup: 8 ounces of 2% milk, 2 shots of espresso, 4 shakes of ground cinnamon, 2 teaspoons chocolate syrup, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and a topping of light whipped cream. Drop a tip in my jar — whatever amount you want, whatever amount you think I've earned.
