Here are the first three posts that snagged me:
- The first-click award goes to Evelyn Rodriguez at Crossroads Dispatches for “Women Have Shopping Blogs, Men Have Cool-Hunting Blogs and Other Venus-Mars Petite-Grand Tales” because Evelyn is always readable, because my husband teased me about not attending the BlogHer Conference, and because I always seem to slip between categories when things are sliced up by male/female attributes. If men are from Mars and women are from Venus, I seem to have come from a different solar system altogether.
-
The second-click award goes to Jim Logan at Small Business Branding for “Small Business Branding or Putting The Cart Before The Horse” because I ran my numbers this morning, and have almost covered my total annual expenses (for my personal website) for the year (through income derived from direct sales, affiliate fees, and ad revenue), so I am a tad sensitive to the term immediate revenue.

Click through to the Carnival itself — there are always way more posts than I can call attention to.
Do you find news here worth reading? Do you agree (or disagree) with my slant on that news? Buy me a cup of coffee! My recipe for a daily cup: 8 ounces of 2% milk, 2 shots of espresso, 4 shakes of ground cinnamon, 2 teaspoons chocolate syrup, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and a topping of light whipped cream. Drop a tip in my jar — whatever amount you want, whatever amount you think I've earned.
