Your California Senator NOT at Work
Oh my ears and whiskers! *
California’s junior United States Senator, Barbara Boxer, is scheduled to address the assembled Kossacks today as the luncheon keynote speaker at the YearlyKos convention in Las Vegas.
That’s okay, because nothing too important is going on back in Washington, D.C. The Senate has, in fact, already adjourned for the weekend, with no recorded votes. Senator Boxer will surely be able to return in time to take up consideration of S. 2766, the Defense Authorization bill, scheduled for Monday at 3p. Surely.
Do you think that she’ll post the text of her YearlyKos keynote speech on her official senate website?
