La Palma: Child Car Seat Inspections Now Available

The La Palma Police Department is now offering free child car seat installation demonstrations and inspections. An improperly installed child car seat dramatically increases the risk of injury to a child during an automobile accident and, statistically, 90% of child car seats are used incorrectly. This free program involves a trained police department employee demonstrating and/or inspecting the proper installation of a child car seat based on manufacturer specifications.
