This Week’s Carnival of the Capitalists is Up!
Hosted by Jeff Cornwall at The Entrepreneurial Mind — seasonally-themed as a wishlist to Santa.
Here are the first three posts relevant to DIY Online Business for One that made me click through:
- The first-click-through award goes to Barry Welford at StayGoLinks for “The Non-Spatial Internet” because any DIY Online Business for One needs to keep constant watch on online trends and developments, and Barry talks about a new notion that ties cyberspace to meat space, supporting the hot topic of local search.
- The second-click-through award goes to Laura Young at The Dragon Slayer’s Guide to Life for “Top 10 Things I Had to Learn on the Road to Full-Time Self-Employment” because any DIY Online Business for One should always be willing to learn from the experience of others — we don’t have enough time to make all the mistakes ourselves! My favorite is #7, because being madly enthusiastic is one of my primary reasons for being a One-Man Band.
- The one-more-before-the-door award goes to The Small Business Buzz for “Which Business Entity is Right for You” because it’s a question that every One-Man Band has to answer. Even better, the post is the first in a short series examining different sorts of business organizations.
As always, there are many more posts that the three that I list. Click through and check out the entire Carnival for yourself.
(You are invited to explore my entire website — kick off your shoes, sample a cookie, flip through the photo album, stroll through the shops and check seasonal promotions and specials, read up on the latest inside information — stay as long as you like.)

‘Meat space’ is a new one to me.
Where can I read up on that? Perhaps I don’t get out enough. Anyway I’m glad you liked that item and thanks for the mention.
