This Week’s Carnival of the Capitalists is Up!
Hosted at Dispatches from Blogblivion.
Here are the first three posts that made me click through:
-
The first-click-through award goes to Steve N. at The StartUp Blog at PartnerUp for “So you’ve got a business idea… Now what?” because cold water is often in short supply when a hot idea steams up your rose-colored glasses. Okay, okay — I’ll stop with the mangled metaphors. Well, probably not. They’re fun. Anyway: the solid advice for prospective start-ups is recommended reading. If your start-up is already started, the points can form a framework for a year-end assessment.
-
The second-click-through award goes to Small Business Essentials for “Entrepreneurial Time Management and Discipline” because I already apply most of the recommendations so I can feel smug. My drive to the gym takes only five minutes, though — and I signed up for the swimming pool. As odd as it might seem to non-Californians, not all of us have backyard pools. And the beach is a 20-minute drive. Actually, I have decided that I should feel dismayed instead of smug. I still need to find more time! Where&rsqou;s my slack?
-
The one-more-before-the-door award goes to Ivana S. Taylor at Strategy Stew for “How to Get Emotional and Get Customers” because it’s December and you should be finishing your January direct marketing plan. That’s what I’ll be working on once this is posted.
As always, there are more posts than the three listed — I look for items that might interest an online entrepreneur or web-based small businessman. Click through to revel in the full-court capitalist press.
