This Week’s Carnival of the Recipes is Up!

Hosted at Technogypsy, the theme (think Cole Porter) is “Anything Goes!”

Here are the first three posts that made me click through:

  • The first-click-through award goes to Anne-Marie Nichols at A Readable Feast for “Goodbye to writing prompts and hello to lunch boxes” because I write & read and cook & pack lunches.

Have I mentioned that you can hire me to write for you?

Have I invited you to visit another of my blogs?

Have I thanked all y’all for dropping by and saying hi? Thank you!

  • The second-click-through award goes to Cooking for 2 for “Crockpot Kielbasa” because I love sausage, I love slow-cookers, and I figure — what the heck! — I can always multiply the quantities times 4 to make enough to serve my family! (To tell you the truth, I would only multiply the kielbasa by two… and serve it over rice, with a nice mixed green salad on the side.)

  • The one-more-before-the-door award goes to FitBuff for “What Should I Eat Before and After My Workout?” because I recently signed up at a local gym and learned the hard way that I shouldn’t exercise on an empty stomach. Lightheaded! Dizzy! The wagging finger of shame from one of the trainers! Oy. How was I to know? The most exercise I ever got was lugging oversize computer monitors — unless chasing toddlers counts. But I never did that on an empty stomach.

As always, there are more posts than the three listed. Click through to jump into the swing of things!
