This Week’s Carnival of the Recipes is Up!
Hosted by Thelly Reahm at Chicken Recipes.
The theme this week is “chicken” — I didn’t realize. (I sent in a wheatless cookie recipe.) But that’s okay, because I firmly believe that you can’t have too many chicken recipes!
- The first-click-through award goes to Scott English for “Cheesy Baked Chicken” despite wheat flour as one of the ingredients — because I think I can swap in a non-wheat flour under cover of that sharp cheddar cheese. (Or grated parmesan cheese, as is suggested in the comments.)
- The second-click-through award goes to KeeWee at KeeWee’s Corner for “Honey Mustard Chicken” because the only way a chicken recipe can be improved is if it uses a crock pot, like this! Although I might tweak it by using potatoes instead of sweet potatoes…
- The one-more-before-the-door award goes to Morning Coffee & Afternoon Tea (and chocolate in between…) for “Honey Lemon Chicken” again despite the called-for wheat flour because the sweet-and-sour honey-and-lemon flavor will probably cover swapping in a different kind of flour. (Be careful to use wheatless soy sauce!)
As always, there are more posts than the three that I list. Click through and check out the entire Carnival!
(You are invited to poke around my entire website.)

Thanks so much for the click-through award! I hope, if you’ve given the recipe a whirl, that you enjoyed it!
There were definitely a LOT of good chicken recipes (and others) during that week’s carnival. I have several on my list of recipes to try!
