This Week’s Carnival of the Recipes is Up!
Hosted at Ramblings of Silver Blue.
Here are the first three posts that made me click through:
-
The first-click-through award goes to Chef Jules at Gourmet A-Go-Go for “Refreshing Raspberry Semifreddo” because I read through the ingredients five times and still see no wheat. Huzzah!
-
The second-click-through award goes to World Famous Recipes for “Smoked Chicken Chowder” because I am always looking for new chicken recipes, and I love soups and chowders.
-
The one-more-before-the-door award goes to Slow Cooker Recipes for “Crock Pot Chicken Pot Pie” because about the only thing that can improve on a chicken recipe is if the recipe can be done in a slow cooker. I will admit that this particular recipe would require a tweak, swapping out the frozen mixed veggies for fresh. While frozen veggies generally have a lower sodium content than canned, fresh veggies ace them out. The jar of chicken gravy would also have to be changed to avoid wheat gluten — thickening the broth with cornstarch solves that problem.
As always, there are more posts than the three listed. Click through for the full revelry.
