HD TiVo or Not HD TiVo

That’s the question addressed by Walter S. Mossberg today, on behalf of all the owners of new high-definition televisions.

In today’s deadtree edition of the Wall Street Journal, Mr. Mossberg soundly pans the high-def DVR available from Comcast — but thinks the high-def TiVo is pricey and lacking features.

The pain of the bleeding edge.

Ars Technica reviewed HD Tivo earlier this year.

Engadget tried Comcast’s HD DVR more than a year ago.
